As Microsoft continues to push out its Windows 8 operating system, more and more people are finding that they are trying to adapt to it. Even the other day I heard a lady in Staples pleading with the sales person to see if she could get Windows 7 as her kids already have Windows 8 and are struggling with it. If you are one of these people who find yourself struggling with moving around the Windows 8 operating system, Start8 may be what you need to help you.
Start8 is a third party program made by Stardock, and is about $5. But what it does is give you back a regular looking Windows start menu in the desktop mode of Windows 8. This way instead of having to navigate the tablet menus, you can still access Windows just as if it were Windows 7. And for the people I have talked to, this is well worth the $5 cost of the software. But if you have not sure, Start8 does have a 30 day trial period.
So if you are still strugging with Windows 8 and just wish you could have the old Windows start menu back, check out Start8. It may be what you need to make Windows 8 work for you.
