St. Patrick's Day Treats

March is almost here, and that means it will soon be St. Patrick's Day! This is the time of year we feature our Peppermint Bon Bons, a semi soft cookie where the first thing you'll notice is the green color.  This is a natural color that comes from the spirulina plant, sold locally at the Good Food Store. Spirulina is a micro plant that grows in the water and is harvested for consumption by people or animals. It's known as a super food due to the vitamin properties.
 
These little cookies are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The cookies contain an organic peppermint extract, skim milk, cornmeal, flour, canola oil, chicken broth, spirulina, and they are drizzled with carob.

For St. Patrick's Day, they will be packaged in festive St. Patty's Day bags.  These are the prefect treats for your own dogs or for a gift for some other lucky dogs!   Click here for more information


In Memory of Chesney

In memory of Chesney who was the world's best dog to me for 10 years & 3 months. She passed away on January 30th, 2010 and will be truly missed. The bakery was started because of her, and may it always cherish her memory with each treat I bake.
